Describe a typical working day
By day, walking through city centers like Barcelona or Paris with local salesteams. Meet clients, inspire, learn about their business, share successes. By night, having dinner in a trendy restaurant, have fun and order again the last drinks.
Describe your background and experience
After my pre-university education, I studied at the 'De Maere' Textile School in Enschede. As soon as my course finished, I started working at McGregor as an Assistant Product Manager. I moved into various different management roles and since this year I have the commercial responsibility of McGregor.
What do you like about your job?
Continuing to build on McGregor's success with a young, dynamic, enthusiastic and ambitious team. I learn something new every day, meet lots of people and travel all over the world, so there's never a dull moment.
What do you like about working at the McGregor Fashion Group?
At the McGregor Fashion Group you get the opportunity to fulfil your ambitions. Which I'm still doing every day. The ‘play to win’ and ‘share success’ culture completely ties in with my own values. I live by the same philosophy myself.
What has been your biggest challenge to date at the McGregor Fashion Group?
I've faced countless challenges during my career at McGregor but my biggest challenge is always the next day ahead – welcoming new salespeople for example.
What personal contribution that you have made to the success of the McGregor Fashion Group are you most proud of?
I'm proud of working for McGregor since I left school. I feel I have really contributed to the success of this fantastic brand. There's a little bit of me and my emotions in all the brand stands for.
