Describe a typical working day
Every day is different but contact with people is a major part of every working day. It can be people from different departments or the marketing team but also people from the media, pr and photographers networks, the final goal is to develop McGregor further as a fashionable and aspirtational lifestyle brand.
Describe your background and experience
I studied Japanese culture and language at Leiden University and after graduating I worked as a retail marketeer at Tommy Hilfiger Europe for 5 years. I started at McGregor 5,5 years ago.
What do you like about your job?
Working together with inspiring and motivated people, in and outside McGregor. Contributing to the expansion of McGregor as an international lifestyle brand and the development of the people in my team.
What do you like about working at McGregor Fashion Group?
The people and the brand. The enthusiasm of the people, their passion and their humour as well. The chances that are being given to me to learn and develop myself. The entrepreneurial spirit. As a marketeer it is fantastic to contribute to the success of such a strong brand
What has been your biggest challenge to date at the McGregor Fashion Group?
Further developing McGregor as an international lifestyle brand, inspiring and motivating our international target audience into buying McGregor, every season through consistent and inspirational marketing communication

The way the brand has developed in the past 5 years, the contribution of marketing and the people who made this possible.
