McGregor and Green.2 launch Green.2 eco-chic collection by McGregor
Premium fashion brand McGregor and green glossy Green.2 have joined forces for the first time to create a unique organic collection for stylish men. This collection combines sporty style with environmental living. The linking factor between the two companies is sustainable entrepreneurship.

Environmental responsibility combined with luxury

Eco-chic
The Green.2 by McGregor collection offers the ultimate summer essentials in beautiful neutral colors like off-white, sand and gray tones. The McGregor heritage clearly shows through in the tailored-fit shirt in sand-colored McGregor tartan and slim-fit polo shirts that are teamed with rugged, dark-gray cargo shorts.
There are also ultra-soft T-shirts with subtle prints and custom-fit shirts in organic poplin. A comfortable hooded sweatshirt sums up the easy-going picture, which is reinforced by the natural look and feel of this special collection. The luxurious off-white scarf made from bamboo yarn will complete every outfit, even women's! This eco-chic collection will be available from the beginning of May at all McGregor stores and De Bijenkorf.
Organic Cotton
This Green.2 by McGregor collection is an important step on the road to manufacturing clothes with responsibly grown cotton, which uses organic pesticides instead of chemical ones. With organic pesticides you can grow the same amount of cotton in the same surface area, but without polluting the environment. The manufacturing process includes many sustainable elements, including environmentally friendly cotton bleaching and organic hang tags printed on recycled paper; and the collection is even packaged in biodegradable polybags. What's more, the containers that transport the collection are cleaned with organic products instead of chemicals.
As well as all this, the collection complies with the standards of the Organic Exchange organization. Organic Exchange is a charitable institution which aims to encourage environmentally friendly production of organic fibers such as cotton. www.organicexchange.org
