MCGREGOR FASHION GROUP OPENS FLAGSHIP STORE ON PRESTIGIOUS PASSEO DE GRACIA 11 IN BARCELONA
McGregor Fashion Group B.V. has opened their first combined showroom and flagship store on the well-known Passeo de Gracia in Barcelona, Spain. The opening marks an important step in McGregor’s international expansion.
Unique Combination
The unique combination of retail store and showroom at this luxurious location strengthens the brand positioning in Spain. “Spain is an important market for us and we are exited to offer the complete McGregor lifestyle concept” says Gijs Naardin, International Retail Director.
Anglo-American Heritage
McGregor’s Anglo-American heritage is apparent in both the store and the showroom through the use of American walnut hardwood floors, smoked glass and several different naturally sourced stones as well as a mirrored wall with tartan accents. McGregor aims to offer a complete lifestyle concept by naturally blending the retail store and the showroom.
The total square footage of the store and showroom is 600m2. The retail area, 300m2 houses the entire men’s sportswear and distinction collections, as well as footwear, bags and eyewear.
A European fashion house
McGregor Fashion Group B.V. is a Dutch based fashion house founded in 1993. The group, which until recently was listed on the Amsterdam Euronext, focuses on the design, marketing, distribution and sales of branded menswear, womenswear and childrenswear at the upper end of the market. McGregor and Gaastra are the most important brands within the group.
McGregor’s strategy is based on a diversity of distribution channels, which strengthen each other and contribute to a balanced spread of activities.
