GAASTRA IS MOVING TO THE COMMERCE PARC AMSTELVEEN
DRIEBERGEN-RIJSENBURG - McGregor Fashion Group N.V. announces it will be taking on new office space for its Gaastra brand, to house Gaastra's new international Marketing & Design Centre. At present Gaastra is still based in Leusden but, due to its explosive growth in recent years, and the company's international objectives for the next few years, it is now looking forward to new, more suitable accommodation.
On 1 July 2008 Gaastra will be moving to the Commerce Parc in Amstelveen, where it is renting a whole building with a surface area of around 2000 m² spread over three floors. The new, modern accommodation is situated 10 minutes from Schiphol and the centre of Amsterdam. The building offers open space with lots of light and a large clear span, ideal for the showrooms and design studios Gaastra will be setting up there. The premises are being rented from Rijsterborgh Vastgoed BV.
Gaastra is part of the McGregor Fashion Group N.V., a fast-growing, international fashion group with a turnover of around €165 million this year and some 500 staff. Gaastra and McGregor are the group's biggest brands. The McGregor Fashion Group has its head office in Driebergen.
